The Funroom
We also like to have fun.
Not every experiment needs to solve a serious problem. Sometimes building something ridiculous, competitive, surprising, or just plain entertaining is a pretty good way to learn what a new idea can do.

Meet Ada. See if you can beat her at Blackjack.
While exploring the need for artificial intelligence in various upcoming products, we established our first basic game agent. Her name is Ada.
Blackjack gave us a compact place to experiment with decisions, personality, state, interaction, and the simple question of whether an AI opponent can be useful without being boring.
Ada also has opinions. Depending on the setting, she may keep them mostly to herself—or not.

Why put experiments in public?
Because the workbench can be interesting too.
RAB Products is interested in useful finished products, but the experiments along the way can reveal just as much about what works, what doesn't, and what deserves another round.
Play with an idea
A small game can test interaction and personality before those lessons are applied to larger products.
Let people react
Something does not have to be profound to tell us whether people enjoy using it.
Keep room for weird
Some ideas deserve a prototype before anyone spends too much time explaining why they shouldn't work.

Fold or Be Folded
What began as a ridiculous idea about folding a fitted sheet turned into a surprisingly competitive little game about patience, precision, and what happens when your laundry decides it has had enough.

Objective
Fold the fitted sheet before it folds you. Choose your folder, choose your difficulty, and try to keep your Dignity and Patience intact.
Victory
Master the fold and humanity survives another laundry day. Confetti included.
Failure
Lose control of the sheet and discover why some laundry fights back.
Have one of those ideas?
Maybe it belongs in the Funroom.
Games, experiments, odd little tools, and concepts that are more entertaining than sensible all have a place here.
We intend to give visitors a way to submit ideas for future Funroom experiments.
When the submission system is ready, this is where you'll be able to pitch something you think we should try building.
No promise we'll build every idea. But “that's weird” is not an automatic disqualification.

The Funroom is where experiments can be experiments—where Ada is waiting for another hand and a fitted sheet is waiting for a fight.
